Free 11 Plus practice questions

A worked example and five exam-style questions for every topic, each with a step-by-step answer. Topics are ordered by how often they appear in the tests, so start with the core ones.

How to get the most from them

  1. Try before you look. Answering from memory, then checking, builds far stronger recall than rereading (the testing effect).
  2. Aim for mostly right, not all right. Practice works best at a level where your child gets about three in four: hard enough to learn from, easy enough to keep going.
  3. Read the working, not just the letter. The steps, and why each wrong option is wrong, are where the learning happens.
  4. Come back in a few days. Short sessions spread over weeks beat one long cram.
