About Prism Learning
Prism is an 11 Plus preparation that shows a family where their child stands against the schools they are aiming for, then closes the gap with short lessons, exam-style practice and games, and shows the progress every week.
Mission
To give every child a fair run at the school they are aiming for, with honest measures and daily practice that fits them, and to build the child along the way: the reasoning, the strategy and the habits of checking and persisting that outlast any exam. See what your child builds.
Vision
An 11 Plus preparation a family can trust more than an opinion, because it shows the gap and closes it, for any child, whatever the family can spend on tutors.
Values
Honest readiness, not reassurance
Readiness is measured against the standard of the schools a family names, from the work the child actually does. Prism never claims a pass rate and never promises a place.
The child first, the exam second
A child starts where they are and is developed, not sorted. Foundation work is real work; nobody is handed questions they cannot yet reach.
Every answer explained
Every question carries its working and a reason for every wrong option, because the learning is in the explanation, not the letter.
Read anything
Comprehension is practised on stories, poems, classics, reports, letters, adverts, rules and case files, so a child can read whatever the paper sets.
Privacy by default
No adverts, no cameras, no emotion tracking, no chat with strangers. A child's account is made and controlled by a parent.
Parents see everything
Every lesson, drill, paper and game a child does is visible to the parent, with the mistakes and the next step. Children see what helps them.
What Prism will not do
- Contact a child directly, or email a parent who has not asked to hear from us.
- Copy real exam papers. Every question is written by Prism in the style of the tests, and a fresh one is drawn each time.
- Claim results. Readiness is Prism's own estimate against a school's standard and is always labelled as such.
- Sell data. Prism is paid by families and by nobody else.
Who makes it
Prism Learning is part of WAJD Group, a UK company. The question bank, the lessons and the reading texts are written and checked in house and reviewed by teachers; you can see all of it in the open on the question types pages.
